Inspired by Flow, Driven by Collective
KMC Seasonal Flow Collective began not with a business plan, but with a simple, personal observation: how the six distinct seasons of Western Australia—from the dry heat to the flowering rains—influence our mood, our homes, and our sense of comfort.
The founder, Christopher J. Auty, realized that true comfort isn't just about soft fabric; it's about a deep, soulful connection to where we live. This led to the vision for KMC: to create textile art that shifts and flows with the cycles of the year, bringing the outside world into our sanctuaries.

But a single vision is limited. KMC quickly pivoted from a solo endeavor to a Collective—a platform driven by the belief that exceptional art should uplift the local community.
A threefold commitment to art, comfort, and community
To elevate the work of local Western Australian artists, giving them a national stage for their designs.
Our launch features our inaugural Artist-in-Residence, Lorna Tawhiti, whose pieces perfectly capture this gentle, comforting flow.
To craft luxurious, sustainable textile pieces designed for genuine comfort, inspired by the seasonal shifts in the landscape.
We use our platform to drive positive change through two channels:
Guiding principles for living in harmony with seasonal flow
Honoring the practice of slowing down and embracing intentional rest as a foundation for growth.
Finding focus and purpose in our endeavors, moving forward with intention and direction.
Celebrating relationships, community, and the moments that bring lightness to our lives.
Letting go of what no longer serves us and preparing space for new beginnings.
