Returns & Exchanges Policy

At KMC Seasonal Flow Collective, we are committed to sharing beautiful, high-quality products that align with our mission of rest, restoration, and supporting local Australian artists. We understand that sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, so we've made our return process clear and simple.

1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Guarantee

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This policy does not seek to exclude or limit any rights or remedies you have under the ACL.

2. Change of Mind Returns (14 Days)

We accept returns for change of mind under the following conditions:

Timeframe

Request must be submitted within 14 days of original delivery date

Condition

Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, with original packaging and tags

Exclusions

Due to the nature of our products (textile goods), all sales of digital artwork/downloads and sale/clearance items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, please note that for limited-edition seasonal runs or custom-cut fabric products, returns for 'change of mind' are not available. We encourage customers to review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Process

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping
  • Once the item is received and inspected by KMC, a refund will be processed
  • Refund will be to the original payment method, excluding original shipping costs
  • KMC reserves the right to refuse a refund if the item fails our quality inspection

3. Damaged or Defective Items (Faulty Goods)

If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, or does not meet the product description (e.g., incorrect pattern, stitching defect, faded print), we will rectify the issue immediately.

Timeframe

Please notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing us at cja@home-kmc.com with the following information:

1. Your original order number

2. A clear description of the fault/defect

3. Photographic evidence of the fault

Resolution

Upon review, KMC will offer a full refund or a replacement (if stock is available)

Shipping

KMC will cover the cost of return shipping for all approved faulty goods

4. Exchanges

We primarily offer exchanges only for faulty items (as per Section 3).

If you require an exchange for a change of mind (e.g., you ordered the wrong size), please follow the Change of Mind Return process (Section 2) and place a new order for the desired item separately. This ensures the fastest service.
